Health Measures

Let’s Stay Healthy!

At KidzGround, your child’s health & wellbeing is our top priority.  Accordingly, we developed our Health Policy for the best interest of the children and in order to maintain a healthy environment and decrease the possibilities of spread of any infection.

Below is a brief description of our health measures:

  • A Temperature check will take place daily at the child arrival. If a child appears too sick to be with other children at that time or any time during the day, the child will be isolated, to prevent other children from getting sick. Parents/Guardians will be contacted to come and pick the child up. The child should be picked up within one hour of the notification.
  • We have an on-call pediatrician, who also comes for regular checkups.
  • To limit cross-contamination, personal items should be left at home unless otherwise specifically requested by the teacher.
  • Children are not allowed to wear any jewelry or accessories at KidzGround as they might lose them, hurt themselves or their friends. Girls are only allowed small earrings.
  • No make-up or lip balm is allowed at KidzGround since children tend to “share” these items.
  • In the case a child is on medication, the parents are required to fill a “Medication Form” at the Admission Office. All medicine must be brought in its original container and handed to the Admission Office.
  • All children’s immunizations must be kept up to date in accordance with the Egyptian law. Verification by your child’s doctor is needed on yearly basis. Non-immunized children will not be accepted. KidzGround recommends the “Chicken Pox” and the “Meningitis” vaccinations with your child immunization list.

We suggest to the parents that the child has to stay at home if the following occurs:

  • Fever or vomit within the last 24 hours
  • Diarrhea
  • Pink Eye or Conjunctivitis
  • Croupy cough or cough accompanied by rapid or difficult breathing or wheezing.
  • Flu/severe cold
  • Unusual rashes 
  • Contagious diseases of any sort
  • Throat – chest – ear infection
  • Head lice
  • Too ill to participate in daily activities
