3 months – 1 year

The journey of a life-long love to learning starts at birth, accordingly we worked on our Infant program to serve our children in the best way possible.

At KidzGround, our teachers are hired for their passionate, caring and supportive characters and intensely trained to deliver our curriculum in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment to support each child’s need and growth as well as maintain her/his optimum well-being.

The Infant Program curriculum is designed to promote the development of every milestones of this sensitive age.

Below are the areas that we mostly focus on:

Cognitive Skills

Carefully selected toys and materials are used to help stimulate their senses and their thinking skills. Activities are also planned to raise their understanding of their surrounding world.

Self Help & Independence skills

Infants are provided with multiple activities to problem solve and explore their surroundings. They are also encouraged to explore with self-feeding, reaching out for toys and continuing with their trials and errors. Positive reinforcement is key in every step they take.

Social Emotional Development

Knowledgeable of the Attachment Theory, our teachers are responsive to each child’s need and provide different ways for the child to learn how to get their needs met and to learn how to interact with others.

Physical Development (Fine & Gross Motor)

During the infant stage, sizeable development happens in the areas of coordination and control of the large and small muscle groups. Teachers provide various opportunities to explore the classroom and to manipulate various resources to encourage advancement in each child’s physical abilities.

Communication & Language

Our teachers are constantly talking and making sounds to the children in their care. Songs, story telling, and describing their surroundings is common practice in the infant class.
